Kenilworth’s Going Native! 🐝🌸
There’s a buzz in Kenilworth—and it’s not just the bees! Neighbors are teaming up to turn our lawns, gardens, and green nooks into colorful, pollinator-loving, native wonderlands.

How to Get Started?

Step 1

Put Your Patch on the Map! 🌱

Joining Homegrown National Park's Biodiversity Map isn’t just cool—it’s a bold statement that you’re helping nature bounce back! By adding your space, you're joining a growing, grassroots movement of backyard heroes working to support biodiversity one yard (or balcony!) at a time. 🌻

Every garden counts, every native plant helps. So get on the map and be part of something wild!

Step 2

Join the iNaturalist Kenilworth Pollinator Pathway

Document your observations on plants and animals in your garden or on your property. It allows us to track plantings and animal sightings throughout the neighborhood.

Now you’re not only part of a national movement—you’re helping grow our local network too. Let’s see how far this pathway can reach!

To get your property on the Homegrown National Park map, click the button below to sign up. Once you're signed up for the map, the KCC will send you an invite to join our group inside the map.

Over 40% of insect pollinators, particularly bees and butterflies, are at risk of extinction globally.

Big Things Are Blooming! 🌼
The KCC is dreaming big—and growing even bigger! With enough momentum, we hope to roll out lawn signs so folks can proudly show off which gardens are part of our pollinator-friendly program.

Imagine strolling the neighborhood and spotting these beautiful, buzzing habitats all around!

But that’s not all—we’ve got our eyes on those medians along Kenilworth Road. Our goal? Turn them into pollinator havens that support bees, butterflies, and other beneficial critters.

If you have any issues, questions, or concerns, please contact us at kenilworthpollinatorpathway@gmail.com

Gardens with pollinator plants act as essential pit stops for butterflies and bees on their way to pollinate. Your garden can offer readily accessible nectar and pollen, which are vital for the insects' survival and reproduction, and the overall health of the ecosystem.

More than 90% of wild flowering plants rely on animal pollination to reproduce.

Bees, the most efficient pollinators, have seen global population declines of 30-40% in some areas due to habitat loss, pesticides, diseases, and climate change.

We're in urgent need of funds, members and volunteers to continue this important work for our neighborhood!*

If you haven't already, join the KCC here!

Volunteer, share ideas, and get on the mailing list for updates and event information. *This is a 501(c)(3) organization; donations are tax deductible.
